The City Council is about to consider allowing adult-use cannabis delivery!

In 2016 and 2017, the City Council sought community input on implementation of Proposition 64. Unfortunately, they did not utilize the input, and banned everything except medical sales by delivery. No storefronts, no cultivation, no manufacturing. No adult-use cannabis. The community has been pushing for adult-use delivery and storefront retail for many years now.
In 2021, HerbNJoy was permitted as a medical-only, delivery-only dispensary. HerbnJoy and Contra Costa NORML are advocating for Walnut Creek to pass policy that honors local voters, to overturn bans based on misunderstandings and fear rather than community input and research.
